My New Favorite Spot
I love this spot.
It does such a great job of connecting with the consumer and really illustrates the emotions parents have when their kids start driving. Show this to any parent of a 16 year old and their eyes will well up with tears. It also reinforces that State Farm understands how their customers feel, and it promotes their Steer Clear teen driving initiative and teen driving website.
The Steer Clear website offers great info to parents on how to help their teens be safer drivers, as well as info for teens and a free music download. The 'direct marketer' in me would have liked to have seen a screen shot in the tv spot to really push this great program a bit more, and more screen time for the URL, but overall the idea comes through.
